Torpet is located at the edge of a wood approx. 250 yards from the main building. Torpet was built in the 19:th century and we have tried to preserve it's original style from that time, only basic modernities are added.
If you want to experience how life was for 100 years ago then you can cook your food on the wood stove, use the dry toilet, bath in the sauna fired with wood and bring the water diretly from the well (the well is located within 25 m from the house).
If you want enjoy the silence or to be independent during your stay and handle your self then Torpet is the natural choice.
The building has tree bedrooms (two dubble rooms), a living room and a kitchen. The lounge on the second floor is prepared to be used as bedroom for up to four children.
In the kitchen you can choose between to use the wooden stove or its electrical eqvivalent. In the kitchen you will also find a refrigerator and a microvawe oven.
Visitors that stays at Torpet are of cource welcome to use the modern facilities too during their stay.
Outdoor there is a playground for the children with two playhouses, approx 200 m2 of lawn and a garage.
